Introduction
Kashmir Institute of International Relations organized session with the Migrant youth on the 28th August, 2019 at Muzaffarabad AJK. Migrant Youth, from different migrant camps, including teachers, community leaders, student and lawyers attended the session. The main objective of the session was to evaluate the opinion of the Migrant youth on the current critical situation on LOC and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir after curfew imposed by Indian government on 5th august, 2019 after abolishing Article 35A and 370. Director Programs KIIR, Altaf Hussain Wani welcomed all the participants and highlighted the main features of the session.
Objectives
• To discover the opinion of the youth regarding the peaceful solution of the Kashmir dispute.
• To develop know how among the youth concerning current situation on LOC and curfew imposed by Indian government after demolishing the legal status of Jammu and Kashmir.
• To find out how the Kashmiri Migrant youth think about the current situation in Indian held Kashmir and how they can contribute in the current situation.
• To resolve the long standing dispute according to the wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
